 Write your name in 3D! An experiment with illustrator pathes, particle systems and a little bit of hiphop.
First, we invited mister Kopf Ka EAU to write his name down on a sheet of paper, which we scanned and imported into the new and shiny Adobe Illustrator CS3. We built the pathes in the middle of each stroke and used them as animation splines for a particle system, which emitts circles or elipsoids. Fat Cap Marker Graffiti per 3D!
Aa a variant, we changed the texture, so its getting diffuse at the edges of the circle and did some tweaks to the shapes. Spray Can Graffiti. Works also quite well..
